三黨副總統候選人電視辯論會今登場，承辦製播單位三立電視昨下午先彩排。由於親民黨副總統候選人徐欣瑩身高171公分、國民黨王如玄及民進黨陳建仁則各是163、166公分，為求畫面均衡，徐將墊高5公分，王及陳則各墊高10公分。

而根據三陣營先前抽籤決定，面對講台由左至右位置分別是徐欣瑩、王如玄與陳建仁，各陣營同樣可帶30名幕僚，或親友團到場聲援；代表走位的民國黨發言人徐世勳、國民黨文傳會副主委李明賢及阮昭雄也排演走位、握手等細節。

此外，明日登場的總統大選電視辯論會，國、民、親三組候選人代表昨也前往公視攝影棚場勘。為避免自家候選人在電視上「矮人一截」，民進黨特別派出與總統候選人蔡英文身高相仿「替身」走位，公視並準備5.5公分木製腳踏墊供「實測」，錙銖必較，力求最好畫面呈現。

各陣營代表分別是國民黨發言人楊偉中、親民黨網路組長時蓓蓓，民進黨則由媒體創意中心的女性黨工上來扮演蔡英文。因國民黨總統候選人朱立倫身高約182公分，決定不使用腳踏墊，至於蔡英文及親民黨總統候選人宋楚瑜分別是162與170公分，但即便為「平」畫面，最多也只能使用一塊踏墊。

為求畫面一致，各候選人將使用公視提供的水杯，各陣營幕僚可於事先清洗、裝水，以策安全；辯論取消「按鈴制」，改採「消音制」，只要申論、答辯時間一到，麥克風5秒內消音，以防鈴聲干擾候選人。
